Shift patterns: 5 on 3 off - Earlies and lates - 40 hours per week

We're seeking a Turnaround Coordinator to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Coordinating the turnaround process of an aircraft, from standing/arriving at airport, through to departure
* Ensuring that all ground handling activities are carried out correctly and efficiently (such as passenger boarding, baggage loading and aircraft refueling)
* Being the primary point of contact for ground handling agents, airport authorities and other stakeholders involved in the aircraft turnaround process
* Facilitating effective communication between different teams to ensure a seamless and timely turnaround process
* Ensuring adherence to aircraft safety protocols, such as weight and balance
* Resolving any issues or delays promptly
* Ensuring all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

* An essential part of this role is having team leading/management experience
* Having previous aviation experience is desirable
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
* Be able to provide five years address history
* Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
* To obtain a full airside ID
* Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
