Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heating systems, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair heating systems in both residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various tasks related to heating system installation and maintenance.
* Conduct plumbing work associated with heating systems, including pipe fitting and soldering.
* Perform assembly tasks for heating units and components as required.
* Carry out heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Familiarity with carpentry skills is an advantage for completing installations seamlessly.
* A valid commercial driving licence is beneficial for transporting equipment to job sites.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
