Reporting to: Managing Director
Job Purpose: To Manage products which deliver on profitability and income plans, whilst ensuring we meet all regulatory standards.
Eridge has a significant interim objective of achieving £100m NWP within a maximum of 3 years-this role will be instrumental in ensuring we achieve this goal profitably.
We must act in a compliant manner protecting the interests of customers and business stakeholders including Capacity Providers and Shareholders.
1. Ongoing analysis and development of existing products. Carry out detailed assessments of products, identifying positive and negative trends and present fully justified recommendations for improving individual rating factors and acceptance criteria.
2. Responsibility for developing new Broker propositions, including Insurer Account switches and existing Product version opportunities and New Products. Take an active role in developing current initiatives for Eridge, such as Courier, Telematics and EV’s.
3. In conjunction with colleagues, you will ensure Broker presentations are complete, credible and up to date. You would be expected to evaluate in a timely manner which propositions are worthy of investing time and energy, then manage such propositions up to launch and beyond.
4. Research and Development. Seek out and recommend business opportunities and evaluate market or regulation initiatives which may impact the company.

6. New distribution methods e.g. Direct, Affinity schemes, Solus arrangements
7. New initiatives-claims/ enrichment/ pricing tools/ optimisation of technology
8. Product footprint expansion
9. Understanding of the marketplace and Eridge’s position within this. Should we be doing more, improving or changing?
10. Claims
11. Monitor trends
12. Establish why unexpected claims patterns are emerging
13. Quantify issues and recommend changes
