We are working with an international law firm based in London for a Supervising Associate to join their Derivatives team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an established team, taking a leading role in drafting and negotiating a broad range of derivatives and trading documentation, advising clients on complex, high-value buy-side derivatives and trading transactions and providing clear guidance on regulatory developments.
You will also play a key role in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to knowledge sharing and business development, and helping to strengthen long-term client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
* 3+ years’ PQE;
* Strong background in transactional derivatives and trading law;
* Strong academics required;
* Technically excellent;
* Client-focused;
* Willingness to mentor junior members;
* Document drafting skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
