Overview
The business is investing heavily in its data capabilities, particularly across claims and pricing, with a focus on improving customer journey insights and building more robust data foundations.
You'll be joining a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy, working closely with a small team of analysts to enhance reporting, identify gaps, and improve how data is structured and used across the business.
Role Focus
Support key initiatives across claims and pricing Improve data structures and pipelines to enable better downstream reporting and insights Analyse existing reports, identify gaps, and help enhance the reporting layer Work closely with analysts and wider data teams to deliver high-quality outputs Contribute to building a best-in-class pricing and performance data ecosystem Operate in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership and autonomy
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and improve existing reporting (primarily Power BI) Work across the full BI lifecycle - data prep, ETL, and visualisation Identify data gaps and opportunities to enhance insight delivery Collaborate with analysts and technical teams to improve data pipelines Ensure data is structured and prepared effectively for reporting use cases Deliver clear, actionable insights to support business performance
Experience Required
Strong experience in Power BI, SQL and Databricks End-to-end BI experience (data preparation, ETL, visualisation) Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery Strong understanding of data processes and business context and value add * Proactive and collaborative approach when working with teams
Desirable
Python for data manipulation Experience in Insurance (preferred) or Financial Services
