Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, enabling them to develop their skills and confidence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. You will play an essential role in supporting their learning and development through engaging activities and effective communication. Must have a minimum of Level 3 childcare qualification
Responsibilities
* Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
* Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are supervised and supported throughout the day.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
* Lead group activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical development.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe nursery environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience in nursery or early childhood education settings is essential.
* Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
* Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
* Experience working with children aged 0-5 years is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
* A genuine drive for continuous professional development within the field of early years education.
