Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living, nursing homes, and memory care environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
* Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently.
* Coordinate medication administration and monitor residents' health status.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to foster a supportive community environment.
* Oversee budgeting and financial management for the home, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care and management.
* Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents through effective operations management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings.
* Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care environments is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising staff and managing teams.
* Knowledge of dementia care practices and Alzheimer's support strategies.
* Excellent organizational skills with a focus on budgeting and financial acumen.
* Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Experience in home & community care settings is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, families, and team members.
