As our Property Specialist for Capital Maintenance, you aren't just managing a budget, you are the architect of our asset lifecycle strategy. You will bridge the gap between long term financial planning and on the ground operational excellence across our diverse supermarket, convenience, and logistics estate.
Your mission is to turn data into strategy. You'll identify where investment is needed most; whether it's refrigeration, HVAC, or building fabric and ensure every pound spent delivers maximum value for our stores and our customers.
Reporting to the Senior Property Manager (Capital Planning & Costs), you will:
Support with the development of the 5 year rolling capital replacement strategy. Helping to decide when and how we upgrade critical infrastructure across the business.
Partner with the Maintenance Data team to mine CAFM systems and business insights, identifying risks before they become issues.
Oversee asset condition reports and monitor project execution to ensure we actually realise the benefits promised in the investment appraisals.
Act as the bond between Energy, Building Services, and Estates teams to ensure our asset management aligns with wider business goals.
Work with external partners and our supply base to pilot innovative projects that improve service for our Technicians and store teams.
Ensure Business As Usual (BAU) maintenance is perfectly synced with replacement programmes to maximise efficiency and budget.
