Warehouse Operative – Spider are advertising on behalf of a national electrical wholesaler who is looking to hire a full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operative person to join their friendly experienced team based in Inverness.
As a Warehouse Operative, the role involves:
Picking and packing for orders completed efficiently to ensure timely dispatch.
Processing Goods Received paperwork and supplier invoices on to in-house system.
Ensuring stock levels are maintained and support regular stock counts.
Support in ensuring cleanliness as well as adherence to Health Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Supporting on the trade counter, when required
Covering delivery of orders at peak times/ holiday periods.
This Warehouse Operative role has lots of progression opportunities as you will be working as part of an effective team, so will have an opportunity to get involved in different aspects within the branch.
As the successful Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient offloading and loading of goods, maintaining the warehouse's organised environment and helping to keep the operations running smoothly. Qualities the employer require are:
Ideally experience in working in a warehouse environment.
A professional and friendly approach.
Clean driving licence is essential as may be required to support delivery of orders
A valid forklift would be beneficial but open to training the right candidates.
Applicants must be proficient in English, Math, and possess a keen eye for detail.
This Warehouse Operative role is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of up to £33,000 per annum, (depending on experience), paid monthly with the opportunity to earn an annual profit share bonus. Hours of work 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and working 1 in 6 Saturdays from 8am – 11am.
