HR Manager (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) – Regulatory Body

Contract: 6 months interim

Start Date: 19 November 2025

Interview Date: 10 November 2025

Salary: £49,884 (pro rata)

Location: London


A leading regulatory and professional membership body for the healthcare sector seeks an experienced HR Manager specialising in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). This is a pivotal interim appointment for a highly motivated EDI leader eager to drive organisational change and champion diversity, fairness, and representation at every level.

In this role, you will take ownership of embedding EDI principles throughout the organisation, working closely with the Director of HR to shape, implement, and evaluate policies and programmes that ensure an inclusive workplace for all. You will be instrumental in advancing the organisation’s strategic EDI objectives—turning vision into practical action, fostering a culture of belonging, and delivering measurable improvements.


Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and delivery of EDI initiatives that create a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
* Develop policies, frameworks, and action plans to champion equity and representation across all functions
* Produce regular EDI reports and data insights, including analysis of the Gender Pay Gap and other inclusion metrics
* Integrate EDI priorities into HR projects and ensure progress is measurable and sustainable
* Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and teams, encouraging inclusive leadership and trust-based behaviours
* Support fair and inclusive recruitment practices, including competency and values-based interviews
* Conduct equality impact assessments to inform sound decision-making
* Maintain HR and EDI policies in line with employment law and current best practice
* Build strong relationships across departments to support collaboration and shared learning in EDI
* Deliver engaging training, briefings, and workshops that bring colleagues on board with inclusion priorities
* Contribute to wider organisational goals such as sustainability, wellbeing, and cultural development


What We’re Looking For:

* Comprehensive understanding of equality and employment law
* Proven ability to develop and deliver successful EDI strategies and projects
* Confidence in influencing senior leaders and key stakeholders
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging diverse audiences
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with keen attention to detail
* Highly organised, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities
* Creative, collaborative, and passionate about building a truly inclusive workplace
* Willingness to travel within the UK when needed (occasional overnight stays may apply)
