IPRS Health has an extensive in-house team of multidisciplinary clinicians which, coupled with our carefully selected and managed national clinical network, can provide a first-class service, throughout the UK.
This is a new role to support the growth of the mental health service.
The successful applicant will be based in the UK and working fully remotely.
We are looking for a Senior Counsellor to join our existing team. The successful applicant will hold a clinical caseload providing assessment and treatment to patients experiencing common mental health problems as well as supporting a small team of therapists to deliver the service.
Responsibilities including:
· Adhere to the service referral protocols. Under supervision signpost unsuitable referrals to the relevant service as necessary.
· Carry out case management supervision supporting clinicians to deliver treatment in line with KPI’s including session numbers and manage staff utilisation
· Carry out mental health duty cover supporting with general queries, clinical report checks and risk escalation
· Take part in clinical audits for the team and feed back into case management

Education and Qualifications:
• Suitable qualified counsellor Diploma level four or above (E)
• Accredited with BACP or NCS (E )
• Minimum of three years experience of telephone counselling (E )
• Evidence of continues professional development (E )
Experience & Knowledge:
• Experience in the Corporate Market (D)
• Experience of the Occupational Health and Healthcare Insurance Markets (D)
• Previous experience working in public and private healthcare (E)
• Computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (E)
• Experience of working remotely (D)
• Previous experience of managing a team (D)
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work within a team to achieve the best outcomes for your patients.
Ability to work under supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
Ability to time manage to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment.
Ability to provide detailed reporting to the client on patient progress using standardised report templates and the company database.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the client and their needs.
A good level of understanding of clinical governance.

Salary £34,000 - £39,000 per annum
Location: Remote working based within the UK
