Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Screening Interviewer (Pashto & Urdu fluent) on behalf of a regulatory services client. This role supports an enhanced Due Diligence process through conducting structured, video-recorded screening interviews and producing accurate, high-quality reports.
Summary of job (location, contract and salary/rates)
* Location: Fully office-based (5 days per week)
* Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
* Probation: 3 months
* Salary: £32,748 per annum
Main duties and responsibilities
* Manage all administrative aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, booking, coordinating logistics, ensuring documentation is complete, and reporting outcomes.
* Prepare and plan interviews through detailed review of due diligence reports, identifying anomalies, queries, and potential risks requiring follow-up.
* Conduct online, video-recorded face-to-face screening interviews in Pashto and Urdu, applying effective interview techniques to explore areas of concern.
* Accurately summarise and assess interview findings, comparing information gathered against original reports.
* Report findings through the Due Diligence process and carry out additional enquiries as required.
* Complete and engage with the required interview training programme.
Person Specification
Essential Skills:
* Fluency in Pashto and Urdu, with strong written and verbal English
* IT literate (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Booking systems, databases, and word processing)
* Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
* Objective, impartial, and inquisitive mindset
* Strong telephone manner
* Self-motivated and reliable
* Professional and smart personal presentation
* Confident in engaging with individuals
* Ability to quickly absorb and assess relevant information
* Willingness to learn and participate in training
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience conducting interviews (telephone, video, or face-to-face)
* Professional interpretation or translation experience
