We’re looking for a Senior Press & Campaigns Officer to help amplify our voice across media and digital channels, ensuring road safety remains high on the national agenda.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Policy & External Communications team in a senior role that blends media leadership, digital strategy, reputation management, and public policy influence.
About the role
* Lead proactive national, regional, and specialist media relations
* Develop compelling press releases, statements, and campaign narratives
* Translate research, data, and policy insight into stories that influence public debate
* Deliver high-impact integrated media and digital campaigns
* Act as a spokesperson and support crisis communications readiness
* Build strong journalist, stakeholder, and partner relationships
* Work with senior leaders to shape public engagement opportunities
* Help influence national road safety policy through strategic communications
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Senior-level PR, journalism, or media relations experience
* A strong track record in campaign strategy and delivery
* Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
* Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
* Strong digital, social media, and SEO knowledge
* A genuine interest in road safety, policy, and current affairs
