 
        
        English Teacher – Full‑time, long‑term maternity cover from January 2026 until July 2026

Duties
 * Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
 * Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
 * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
 * Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities
 * Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and pupil outcomes
 * Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student well‑being
Qualifications
 * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
 * Has experience teaching English in secondary schools
 * Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
 * Committed to fostering a positive learning environment
 * Enthusiastic about contributing to school life beyond the classroom
 * Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
