Trinity is seeking a skilled and motivated Works Engineer to join our established London team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, critical sites across the London region, delivering expertly commissioned fire alarm solutions.
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of security and life safety systems, operating within complex, multi-panel environments. The role of Works Engineer
You will be providing installation, commissioning and small works of our clients fire alarm systems. Working as part of a skilled team of Works Engineer's you will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.
The key tasks include the following:
* Carry out all necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company's quality standards.
* Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
* Liaise with works administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our commitments are met.
* Work to a planned commission and small works schedule.

CCTV: HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua
Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom
Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher
What skills do you need?
* Experience in commissioning, installing and completing small works on security systems to relevant British Standards.
* Ability to identify all types of cable associated with security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers' instructions.
* A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
* To always provide outstanding customer service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* What technical knowledge do you need?
* Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of security interfaces.
* A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of security system problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
* Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA)..
