We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at St Vincent House, a residential care home with a strong focus on providing a safe and supportive environment for residents living with dementia.
What you'll be doing:
You will play a vital role in creating a comfortable, clean, and welcoming home for our residents. Your work will directly contribute to their well-being and sense of security.
* Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home, including residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
* Following established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are kept spotless and sanitised.
* Being mindful of our residents' routines and needs, carrying out your duties with discretion and respect.
* Working closely with the care team to report any maintenance issues or concerns.
* Creating a positive and friendly atmosphere for residents, their families, and staff.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within a care or healthcare setting.
* A compassionate and patient approach, with an understanding of the challenges faced by people living with dementia.
* Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of our residents.
