Were partnering with a leading building services contractor to hire aMechanical Estimatorinto a high-performing Pre-Contract team. Youll produce robust tenders and cost plans, collaborate across the supply chain, and help win flagship projects in residential, PBSA and hospitality.
What youll do
* Produce detailedtender bidsandcost planswith accuracy and pace
* Manage the day-to-daytender process, maintaining standards and hitting deadlines
* Attendmid/post-tender meetingsand leadpost-tender controlactions
* Interface with existing and prospective clientsbuilding trust and credibility
* Engage withsub-contractors and suppliers: issue enquiries, assess returns, and develop new leads
* Work closely with the widerM&Eteam; while mechanically biased, apply a solid understanding of associatedelectricalservices
* Maintain impeccable documentation via electronic control systems
