We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer To drive mechanical/electro-mechanical engineering projects within DAS, RAN and FUZE production lines ensuring customer/system needs are required to support successful installation.
Position Responsibilities:
* Lead design, development, and enhancement efforts to support Private Wireless/RF networks
* Develop integrated designs including system architecture and electronic packaging meeting performance requirements including desired features, thermal management, aesthetics, and scalability for volume production
* Design for optimization of cost and manufacturability
* Have knowledge of various electrical components, including RF and power
* Strong understanding of design and development regarding product certification requirements
* Achieve cost reduction targets on products without sacrificing product quality
* Manage development to ensure adherence to JMA design standards and change control
* Determine project budgets and capital requirements needed to execute new product development
Position Requirements:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Have a minimum of 3 years of electromechanical engineering/design experience
* Have familiarity with manufacturing relevant for electronic packaging
* Familiarity designing products for a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred
* Be creative and possess superior organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
* Be at his/her best when working in a fast-paced environment demanding a proactive, “get it done” approach
* Have a bias towards learning and bias for action
Equipment/Software/Systems:
* Be capable of using 3D modeling software, Solidworks preferred
* Experience with thermal management software with electromechanical systems, ANSYS preferred
* PDM software experience, SolidWorks Enterprise preferred
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP Software, SAP preferred
$80,000 - $110,000 a year
The US national annual base salary range for this is $80,000 - $110,000. The range includes base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the scope and complexity of the role, the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, peer and market data and geographic location.
