Cutover Manager – EPR ProgrammeFixed Term/ContractA leading UK healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Cutover Manager to lead the planning and delivery of cutover activities for a major Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation programme. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, coordinated, and disruption‑free transition to the new EPR system across clinical and operational services.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the organisation-wide cutover strategy, ensuring operational readiness across all services.
2. Plan, coordinate, and execute cutover activities including data migration, testing, training, and go‑live support.
3. Establish and run the EPR Go‑Livemand Centre, managing incident escalation, downtime processes, and rapid response protocols.
4. Manage risks, dependencies, and contingency planning for all cutover workstreams.
5. Engage with senior clinical, operational, and digital leaders, as well as external suppliers and system integrators.
6. Provide reporting, assurance, and updates to Programme Board and senior stakeholders.
7. Lead and develop cutover teams, ensuring staff are trained and prepared for go‑live.
8. Drive continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and refining cutover processes.
Essential experience:
9. Significant experience leading cutover or go‑live activities on large digital transformation programmes (ideally NHS/healthcare).
10. Strong background in programme/project management methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
11. Proven ability to manageplex risks, interdependencies, and operational readiness activities.
12. Experience with incident management,mand centre operations, and downtime procedures.
13. Senior stakeholder engagement experience, including presenting to Boards and steering groups.
Qualifications:
14. Master’s degree or equivalent senior-level experience in Health Informatics, Programme Management, Business Administration or similar.
15. Advanced project/programme management certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, APM, Agile).
Desirable:
16. Experience working with EPR suppliers or system integrators.
17. Knowledge of NHS digital standards, assurance frameworks, and frontline digitisation programmes.
18. Change management and service readiness training (, ITIL).
