Step into a newly created role that brings structure, support, and leadership to everyday residential practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the culture of a small, specialist children’s home in East Lancashire.
About the Role:
You’ll work closely with the Registered and Deputy Managers to ensure a consistent and high-quality service. Responsibilities include:
• Leading on daily operational and administrative tasks to keep the home running smoothly
• Ensuring care plans, reports, and documentation are accurate and timely
• Providing hands-on guidance to the team and modelling best practice
• Supporting safeguarding practice through oversight and coaching
• Delivering reflective supervision and embedding a strong team culture
• Promoting therapeutic, relationship-led care in line with children’s needs

About You:
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (essential)
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 or working towards it (desirable)
• Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within residential childcare
• Confident in safeguarding, team support, and care planning
• Organised, approachable, and committed to therapeutic care
