University Teacher in Philosophy (Job Ref: REQ260309)
Posted 13/05/2026. Closing 08/06/2026. Location: Loughborough. Salary: £47,389 per annum (pro‑rated). Fixed term starting 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2029. Part‑time (FTE 0.4). Annualised (10 months per year, pay divided equally across 12 monthly instalments).
Responsibilities
The role‑holder will provide teaching primarily on our popular undergraduate Politics, Philosophy and Economics programme, covering introductory issues in epistemology, logic, metaphysics and ethics. Ability to teach and supervise in political philosophy and/or wider politics and international relations would be helpful.
Qualifications
* Highly experienced educator with evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Specific and current experience of teaching philosophy.
* Experience working in a high‑quality academic research environment.
