Role: Procurement Governance Manager
Location: Leeds, LS15 8GB. We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 1-2 days in the office per week.
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum DOE, plus up to a 10% annual discretionary bonus and our extensive benefits

Working hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week. We work on a core hours principle. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00; you can work around these to suit you!

What you’ll be doing
* Own and maintain Pharmacy2U’s procurement framework, processes, templates, and controls, ensuring compliance with internal governance and external regulatory requirements
* Support business and project owners across the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence through contracting, onboarding, and renewal
* Embed and continuously improve procurement processes, systems, and ways of working, establishing scalable and proportionate foundations
* Provide clear guidance, constructive challenge, and oversight on procurement requirements, approvals, risk, and compliance
* Coordinate cross‑functional input from Finance, Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, Information Security, Quality, ESG, and operations
* Ensure supplier onboarding and due diligence are completed appropriately, reflecting risk, criticality, patient safety, service continuity, and value for money
* Support robust supplier selection, tendering, and commercial review processes where required
* Maintain oversight of contracts, renewals, and notice periods to minimise risk and ensure service continuity
* Produce accurate procurement records, reporting, and audit trails to support assurance and governance
* Identify gaps and drive improvements to enhance procurement effectiveness, stakeholder experience, and control maturity
Qualifications & Who we’re looking for
* Strong organisational and process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Proven experience improving, implementing, or embedding procurement processes, controls, or systems in developing or evolving environments
* Ability to support, guide, and constructively challenge stakeholders in a pragmatic and enabling manner
* Good commercial awareness with sound judgement in balancing value, risk, quality, and operational needs
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain requirements to diverse stakeholders
* Experience coordinating cross‑functional input across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and operational teams
* Demonstrated experience supporting end‑to‑end procurement activity, including sourcing, due diligence, contracting, onboarding, and renewals
* Ability to operate effectively within structured governance, approval, and control frameworks
* Strong attention to detail, with experience maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and audit‑ready procurement records
* Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare, pharmacy, or another highly controlled sector
