Job Responsibilities
* Supervise daily front-of-house operations, ensuring a high standard of guest service at all times
* Lead, support, and motivate the guest services team (e.g., reception, concierge, porters)
* Act as the first point of contact for guest queries, complaints, and escalations, resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, maintaining efficiency and accuracy
* Train, coach, and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service
* Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to maintain service standards
* Handle room allocations, special requests, and VIP arrivals to enhance guest experience
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
* Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift handovers
* Assist with rota planning and ensure adequate staffing levels during shifts
* Support health & safety procedures, including emergency protocols and security practices
* Step in to cover operational duties during busy periods or staff shortages
* Support the preparation, cooking and presentation of breakfast items in line with hotel standards
* Set up, replenish, and clear down breakfast service
* Support with basic food preparation tasks throughout the day as required
* Follow recipes, portion control and plating guidelines
* Comply with all health & safety, food safety and company policies at all times
