About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role will support the Financial Controller and wider finance function in delivering accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, and financial controls within a manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SAP experience and an interest in manufacturing finance and costing who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Assist with manufacturing cost analysis and variance reporting
* Help maintain and update standard costing data within the system
* Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
* Process and review financial data within SAP to ensure accuracy
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Support internal and external audit processes
* Maintain financial records and documentation in line with company policies
