Maintenance Manager - Canary Wharf - Landmark building - up to 60k
The role will be based in a high-end residential building, leading a team of four engineers. The development includes a variety of apartment types, retail units, and shared amenity spaces for residents. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading a team and working in a high-end residential environment. Facilities are first class, with residents benefiting from access to a 24 hour concierge, state of the art gymnasium, pool and spa facilities, residents sky lounge and bar, plus meeting spaces.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key Duties:
Organise and manage all planned and reactive maintenance
Lead a team of multi-skilled engineers (4 direct reports)
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and documentation meets required standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms
Oversee reactive maintenance to ensure it aligns with contractual obligations
Manage and deliver minor improvement works
Attend and contribute to client meetings
Coordinate and manage external contractors
Primarily off the tools, but able to step in when operationally requiredApplicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:
Fully qualified to recognised electrical or mechanical standard (HNC, HNC C&G)
Strong Admin and IT Skills
Previous experience of supervising and running a high end residential building.
Knowledge of working with a budget and knowing how to manage costs.
Previous experience of planned and reactive maintenance
