Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and experienced Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across North Sheffield. This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on your strengths)
* Deliver small-group interventions in areas such as phonics, reading, writing, and maths
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs where required
* Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation
* Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working in primary schools
* Strong understanding of child development and learning support
* Confident in supporting phonics, early literacy, and numeracy
* A proactive, positive, and nurturing approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
