About the role
The Product Marketing Manager plays a vital role within VITEC’s marketing team, supporting the Head of Product Marketing, serving as the interface between internal software and product management teams and external customers, partners, and resellers. The role involves translating complex technical information into sharp, engaging, and user‑friendly messaging that highlights product features and benefits for a range of market audiences.
You will take ownership of essential marketing activities including creating sales presentations, supporting new product launch processes, writing and updating brochures and developing brand identities for new products. You will also contribute to rebranding existing offerings to ensure they remain aligned with evolving brand guidelines and market trends.
What you’ll do
The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering Product Marketing support, producing and updating collateral that showcases VITEC’s products effectively. You’ll respond to requests from Product Management, Sales and other stakeholders while gathering technical details and shaping them into content that different audiences can easily understand and use.
Content Creation and Collateral Development
* Amendment and creation of product brochures, to promote VITEC products in the best light for the various audiences that will consume the content
* Create and amend product presentations when new products are released, or new features are added to the products
* Help create video storyboards which promote products through the medium of video
* Create social media content, about VITEC’s products specifically, but also around events and other industry topics
* Help to write/review press releases to ensure that they are accurate and reflect the product features which VITEC is promoting at that time.
Digital and Web Management
* Involvement with the VITEC website, either directly editing pages using the website back end, or working with our web team for more in-depth changes
* Participate in regular meetings with the Product Management team to be aware of upcoming product features/changes which will affect the website, collateral, product branding and appearance.
Product Launch and Release Support
* Participating in the product release process, ensuring all essential product marketing tasks are completed in time for the release meeting
* Provide input to the Marketing team on product demos for major trade shows and events.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Work collaboratively with other team members throughout the organization at all levels on all projects
* Ability to build strong collaborative relationships internally and work with key stakeholders and leaders in marketing, product management and sales to help execute VITEC’s product marketing strategy
* Collaborate with the Creative team to give them guidance and assistance from a product point of view.
Administration, Organisation and Work Ethic
* Assist with the day-to-day administration of internal resources such as ensuring collateral and presentations are available to those who need them
* Time management and project organization will be necessary components to ensure meeting deadlines as delegated by supervisors
* Demonstrate proactive work ethics and a strong sense of cooperative pitching in
* Ability to see the big picture while executing current tasks with close attention to detail.
Industry Engagement and External Insight
* Occasional international travel to trade shows and customer sites to find out more about the industry VITEC is part of, to maximize the support our Sales team and customers require.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or a higher-level qualification in a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in a Product Marketing Manager or Product Manager role in a similar environment
* Content creation – Strong writing and editing skills
* Ability to translate technical information into clear and engaging content for different audiences
* Strong attention to detail
* Cross Collaboration – Ability to work successfully with different personalities from all around the globe and work with them to fulfil their often-unique requests
* Ability to prioritise work effectively
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
* Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to identifying issues and finding effective solutions
* A high level of written and spoken English to ensure communications are professional and clear to an international audience from multiple verticals
* Ability to present confidently and communicate effectively in public settings or be comfortable moving into that setting
* An interest in innovative technology and a willingness to learn about new products and features.
Although not essential it would be advantageous if you had:
* Experience using photo and video editing tools
* Knowledge of the IP video & digital signage industry
* Experience within a global company.
