Job Overview
As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scheduling, financial health, and overall performance of a project. Our offices are based in Manchester but we work with clients across the Northwest.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule Management – overseeing realistic timelines, adjusting schedules as needed, and monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
* Performance Reporting – monitoring project progress and milestones, developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
* Risk Management – identifying financial, scheduling, and resource‑related risks and working with the team to mitigate them.
* Financial Management and Cost Control – budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.
* Tools and Systems Management – managing and optimizing the use of project management tools (ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management.
* Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Project Management tools (ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
* A relevant qualification such as APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be beneficial.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
* Willingness to travel as required.
