Dnata Travel Group, based in Leyland is recruiting for Receptionist / Administrator to join us at Lancaster House in Leyland.
In this role you’ll be the first point of contact for our visitors and colleagues, so we are looking for someone who is welcoming, professional and friendly with great attention to detail and who can adapt to the changing needs of the role.
As well as ensuring the smooth running of our reception area this role will also support the Facilities Team and Directors with general administration tasks.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
Job Accountabilities
* Welcome all external guests – including suppliers, customers and large groups in a professional and friendly manner
* Provide continuous reception cover for most of the day
* Help visitors to sign‑in, allocate badges and make them aware of safety and security information, including supporting any evacuations
* Ensure meeting rooms are set up as required and any refreshments are ordered and provided
* Manage and monitor the booking process of all meeting rooms and company cars
* Receive and send out external post
* Assist with the on‑boarding process of new starters by producing security ID/access badges and the logging/distribution of locker keys
* Manage the allocation and return of temporary staff access passes
* Carry out specific duties to log visitors during emergency evacuations
* Provide general administrative support including raising Purchase Orders, sustainability reporting, Directors expenses claims and diary management
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Previous reception experience is highly desirable
* Smart and welcoming and a willingness to help visitors and colleagues
* Excellent communication skills
* Customer focused
* Calm, organised and efficient with the ability to prioritise
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to work on your own initiative and remain calm under pressure
* A proactive approach to work
* Punctual and efficient
