The Role: The Finance Assistant will be working within a team of 18 in the Finance department. The finance department has responsibility for maintaining the accounting records and producing internal and external reporting for the group of companies. The Finance Assistant will administer the operations around client fees - reviewing and oversight of predominantly quarterly client fee process, overseeing fee set up performed by client services, calculate manual fees in relation to account opening/closing, rate changes and various corrections, monitor and process general client fee related CRM requests and queries received in Fees Inbox. The Finance Assistant will liaise with front and back office in matters relating to client fees, performing static data checks ahead of fee runs to rectify any issues. The Finance Assistant will review and oversight of monthly IFA/Intermediary fee process, perform monthly payment run, produce monthly fee statements, calculation of manual fees, review and amendment of certain static data, liaise with external IFA/Intermediaries to address queries and requests. The Finance Assistant will lead or assist with any fee related initiatives, assist with Avaloq testing and development, identify fee process automation and improvement opportunities and assist with their implementation, regular review of Finance fee procedures, general ad hoc and project work and auditors requests as and when required The Finance Assistant will undertake technical or any other relevant training as and when required. The Candidate Junior level Finance experience some basic accounting knowledge, 1-2 years. Educated to A-Level or equivalent. Basic Accounting knowledge. Basic Excel skills required. Avaloq experience preferred but not essential.
