Role Overview
As the HSE Advisor, you'll
* Provide expert health, safety, and environmental guidance across the Dunfermline facility and Site Services operations.
* Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with company, Environmental ISO14001, PED, PE(S)R, and UK law.
* Collaborate closely with the Group HSE Manager to develop risk assessments, safety protocols, incident investigations, and training programs.
* Support audits, inspections, Safety Tours and corrective action follow-ups.
* Offer timely HSE input during fabrication, welding, installation, and emergency / shutdown work, fostering a technically proficient, safe work environment.
* Ensure all full time new employees receive the required training and compliance information during their induction, and that all contractors have the correct safety training prior to going on site.
Your Profile
* NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification.
* 3+ years experience in industrial/commercial fabrications or engineering, with a strong safety track record.
* In-depth understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Excellent communicator—able to engage everyone from shop-floor technicians to senior management.
* Skilled in risk assessment, incident investigation, delivering training, and compiling safety documentation.
* Auditing experience and familiarity with safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14401, PED, PE(S)R) are highly desirable.
