Job Summary
Administration & Engagement Officer – Part‑time (18.75 hours per week). Location: Tyseley, Birmingham. Salary: Full‑time equivalent £24,784.50; pro‑rata £12,392.25.
Role Overview
Join InHealth’s Diabetic Eye Screening Programme to improve community awareness and engagement, especially within underserved groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve community knowledge of the importance of diabetic eye screening.
* Focus on underserved or seldom‑heard groups, working with the Stakeholder and Quality Assurance Manager to implement appropriate consultation activities.
* Analyse and report on patient satisfaction feedback and other experience surveys.
* Gather patient, user/carer and professional intelligence through engagement activities, including patient, partner, stakeholder forums.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.
* Creativity in social media engagement with service users.
* Awareness of cultural issues related to underserved communities.
* Experience presenting at events and engaging support groups for patients (beneficial).
* Good communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Pattern
Flexible hours. May include hybrid working, occasional evenings and weekends, as required. Travel to stakeholders and events across the Birmingham area.
