We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Hackney. Key Responsibilities:
1. Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
2. Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, providing academic and emotional support.
3. Step in as a Cover Supervisor to manage classes during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning.
4. Assist with classroom preparation, resource management, and behavior management.
5. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Ideal Candidate:
6. Holds a degree in Psychology (or related field).
7. Passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
10. Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
