Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This role requires a strong background in mechanical maintenance with experience in electrical and pneumatics, along with the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities effectively.
Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
* Collaborate with other team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules
* Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
* Deliver excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with colleagues at all levels.
Working hours:
12 weeks on DAY SHIFT - TRAINING (7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 7.30am pm on Friday) and moving to a NIGHT SHIFT: (6pm - 6am Monday - Wednesday and 6pm pm on Thursday)
