The role of Community Safety Officer will involve providing an excellent service, managing, and resolving cases of ASB and working collaboratively in a team. Key responsibilities include: Investigating cases of ASB including interviews, observations and recording information. Assessing witness statements and progressing to legal action if appropriate. Maintaining and updating case files in relation to ASB cases. Referring cases to appropriate support agencies if applicable. Represent the organisation in County Court for legal proceedings when a right of audience has been granted. Managing support of witnesses when required as well as acting as a witness if required.
