Their cloud-based platform enables finance teams to streamline invoice processing, reduce manual workloads, and gain greater financial visibility. The solution integrates with leading ERP systems and is trusted by organisations across multiple industries.
Following continued growth across the UK and Europe, the business is now investing in its first dedicated pre-Sales hire to support an expanding sales function and partner ecosystem.
Role Overview
This is a pivotal hire as the first Senior Solutions Consultant in the business. The role will take ownership of all pre-sales and technical demonstration activity, working closely with Sales, Partners, and prospective customers.
The position is best suited to someone who began their career in Accounting or Finance and has since transitioned into a Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting role within SaaS.
You will act as the technical and functional expert during the sales process, leading product demonstrations and helping finance stakeholders understand the value of automation within Accounts Payable and wider finance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all product demonstrations for prospective customers, tailored to finance and accounts payable use cases
* Partner closely with Account Executives to support deal progression and increase win rates
* Translate customer finance processes and challenges into compelling solution-based narratives
* Act as the subject matter expert on Accounts Payable automation and adjacent finance workflows
* Support channel and implementation partners with technical pre-sales expertise
* Own and refine the demo environment, ensuring it reflects real-world finance scenarios
* Collaborate with Product and Customer teams to relay market feedback and improve positioning
* Contribute to building the pre-sales function, including best practices, processes, and collateral
Required Skills & Experience
* Background in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes
* Experience working in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role
* Proven experience delivering software demonstrations to finance stakeholders
* Experience within AP Automation platforms is highly desirable
* Open to candidates with broader Office of Finance software experience (ERP, Financial Close, Procure-to-Pay, etc.)
* Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions
* Commercial awareness and the ability to support revenue-generating conversations
* Experience working with or supporting channel partners is advantageous
