Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to become a part of their team, taking on the role of HSE Advisor for the scope and contractors, - Develop, execute, and sustain the Integrated Management System (IMS) for the company. - Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements concerning QHSE protocols. - Perform risk assessments, audits, and inspections to pinpoint potential hazards and areas necessitating enhancement. - Offer leadership, direction, and training to staff regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental concerns. - Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, formulating corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks. - Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors concerning quality, health, safety, and environmental matters. - Continuously monitor and assess performance indicators to propel ongoing improvement endeavours. What is needed for the role: - NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (Essential). - Knowledge of the industry, with a strong understanding of health and safety and environmental management systems. (Essential) - Knowledge of ISO Certification: ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 (Highly Desirable). - Strong leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills (Highly Desirable). - Problem solving and having a strong attention to detail are a must, and this role calls for an ability to engage and influence all key stakeholders. - Knowledge of necessary regulations and legislation. - Previous experience working within a mechanical construction environment, either within construction or highly regulated environments.
