HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – NEW PASSES WELCOME People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term opportunities for both experienced and newly qualified drivers. This role will suit applicants looking for work as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver. Shifts: 5 out of 7 days – start times between midnight and 1:30am Saturday working included Rates of Pay: • £16.75 - £25.12 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates (PAYE – holidays accrued separately) • Ongoing work with full training and support • Weekly pay • New passes accepted • Immediate starts available • Staff canteen and free onsite parking • Employee wellbeing programme • Company discounts after qualifying period Day-to-Day Duties: • Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations • Deliver fresh produce and chilled goods to well-known restaurant brands across the UK • Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service at every stop • Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management • Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff • Remain hands-on within a physically active role involving manual lifting Essential Skills: • Valid UK Category C Licence • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes • Reliable, professional and punctual • Good communication and customer service skills • Good understanding of road safety and compliance Desirable Experience: • Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience • Experience handling large or bulky goods • Strong customer service experience Training Provided: • Full industry-related training provided • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity and would like to find out more, please click apply.
