Position:
We are recruiting an Application Support Analyst. You will support and assist with Business IT Support and Development, in accordance with the strategic vision of Equip.
This is an exciting time to join the IT team at Equip as a new centralised system Business Central goes live next year, bringing an exciting opportunity for career development and learning based on the backbone of an industry-leading modern business system.
Key Responsibilities of Application Support Analyst (including but not limited to):
* Supporting users throughout the organisation on IT related issues, primarily software based, but hardware where the opportunity or need arises
* IT Project work as directed by line manager
* Liaise with internal departments on support and development issues
* Deliver training on software packages where applicable
* Maintenance of the support log and identification of training needs in users
* Mapping system architecture and changes that may occur
Requirements:
To join us as Application Support Analyst you must have:
Essential
* Degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline
* High level of experience of using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
* General professional and can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines
* Effective organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as use own initiative
* Current full driving licence
Desirable
* JET Reporting experience
* Experience of analytics
* An understanding of IT needs in a retail environment
* Previous experience in an organisation using multiple and integrated software packages
* High level of experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A passion for the outdoors
