Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? We're currently seeking a Temporary Quality Sorting Operative to support day-to-day operations within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing)
Location: Rugby
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts between 7am-7pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain both manual and automated product sorting processes
* Inspect product quality and identify nonconformities
* Manage stock control of sorted and unsorted materials
* Label finished products accurately and efficiently
* Use systems such as PDS, SAP, Infinity, and production databases
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and food safety
* Attend relevant quality assurance meetings as required
* Manage packaging in the sorting area to ensure smooth workflow
* FLT responsibilities
What We're Looking For:
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Intermediate computer skills
* Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, or FSSC systems is advantageous
* Previous experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is a plus
* A proactive, safety-first mindset and a keen eye for detail
