Night Charge Nurse Nursing - Bay Court Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £23.25 Per Hour Shift Type: Nightshift Contracted hours: 39.37 Lead with Compassion as Our Night Charge Nurse Bay Court Care Home - Opening very soon in Largs We’re getting ready to open the doors to Bay Court, a brand-new, purpose-built care home in the beautiful seaside town of Largs and we’re looking for a clinically astute Night Charge Nurse to lead our night team with confidence, kindness, and calm authority. Our 80-bed luxury home has been designed to deliver exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite Care in a setting that feels both modern and deeply personal. What we offer: £23.25 per hour (Equivalent to £47.598.33 per annum) 39.37 hours per week (3 nights one week, 4 nights the next) Shift times: 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM Paid NMC fees, PVG, and uniform Free onsite parking Pension scheme 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time contract) As well as ongoing clinical training, development, and clear career progression in a growing organisation Your role: As Night Charge Nurse, you’ll lead the home during night shifts, ensuring every resident receives safe, responsive, and person-centred care.You’ll be supported by a strong clinical leadership team and work closely with our Home Manager, who holds the prestigious Queen’s Nurse title. Together, you’ll foster a culture built on compassion, professionalism, and high standards. This is a key leadership role, offering the chance to mentor your team, manage complex care needs with confidence, and help shape a supportive, values-led environment from the very beginning. What you’ll bring: A valid NMC PIN and at least 2 years of post-registration nursing experience. The confidence to lead a team, make decisions, and coordinate care overnight. Experience using EMAR and electronic care plans. A deep commitment to person-centred care and clinical excellence. A passion for mentoring others and being a supportive role model.
