Requisition ID: 9333 | Position: Permanent | Salary: Competitive | Company van and fuel card included | Driving licence required. Standard hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30. 1 in 3 weekends on rota with 15% additional allowance.
What you will do
* Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
* Fault finding and identification of life‑expired equipment.
* Check, repair and make good faults and life‑expired equipment.
* Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
* Mains water supply repairs to minimise wastage and continually improve processes.
* Ensure statutory works are carried out on time and that work is compliant.
* Work at height and in all weather conditions.
* Wearing all PPE and ensuring own health and safety as well as that of others and the public.
* Achieve own performance targets.
* Manage and authorise high/low‑risk maintenance activity on the FM estate using the Amey Safety Rules as the Authorised/Responsible persons (AP/RP). Training will be provided.
* Other tasks as required by the site.
What you will bring
* Full driving licence (essential).
* NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating required (level 2 may be considered).
* Experience operating light plant.
* Legionella Control (L8).
* Experience in a commercial environment.
* Ability to work alone and use initiative.
* Good all‑round project management knowledge.
