We are excited to announce ajob opening for a dedicated and meticulous Professional Cleaner tojoin our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part inmaintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities ensuringa safe and welcoming environment for our employees clients andvisitors.
Main responsibilitiesinclude:
Performing a variety of cleaning tasksto maintain a high standard of cleanliness across ourpremises:
To safely use cleaningmaterials supplied by school in accordance withCOSHH.
* To work in a manner that issafe and mindful of other occupants (teachers pupils staff parentspublic etc) including use of PPE signageetc.
* To operate machinery such as vacuumcleaners and polishers in a safe manner and carry out basic repairsand replacement of bags pads etc.
* To carry outdaily tasks such as emptying of bins vacuuming all floors cleaningall internal glass wiping all desks mopping all hard floorscleaning sanitaryware etc
* To carry out weeklyand termly tasks such as cleaning of blinds deep cleaning ofcarpets rugs and high level dusting.
* To monitorstock levels and work with Senior Office Administrator and PremisesManager to ensure stock is ordered in a timelymanner.
* Practice good housekeeping withshutting and locking of windows external doors switching off lightschecking heaters etc.
* Attendance for deepcleaning outside of term time.
* Liaise with andassist Trust Facilities Manager Head of School and Senior OfficeAdministrators in a professional manner asrequired.
* Work with Trust Finance Team onordering invoicing and the like asrequired.
* Work with Trust Extended services inrelation to lettings and the like.
* Liaise withwider School staff regarding ongoingmatters.
* As required by the school act asresponsible key holder. Attendance may be required to provideaccess for contractors outside of term time subject toneed.
* Assist in maintaining security of theschool and grounds.
* Reporting of faults toPremises Manager and Senior Office Administrator. Judgement will berequired to make the item safe.
Theideal candidate will:
* Have previousexperience in a cleaning role with a keen eye fordetail.
* Possess knowledge of cleaning chemicalsand supplies including proper storage andusage.
* Display a commitment to maintaining highstandards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Exhibitreliability punctuality and the ability to work independently or aspart of a team.
* Have excellent organisationalskills and the ability to manage timeefficiently.
* Show initiative and be proactivein identifying and resolving cleaning needs.
* Bephysically fit and able to perform manual tasks withease.
