and main responsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to lead and manage the performance and business of the Care Group. The post holder will work as a key member of services leadership teams working with clinical colleagues to develop and deliver high quality care for patients.
Provide leadership and management skills to enable the care group to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a patient centred, efficient, safe and effective working environment. This post-holder will support the care group triumvirate in the day to day operational running of the care group, ensuring that all targets, deadlines and objectives are delivered as appropriate, achieving the performance standards, patient access targets and in line with the Trust requirements.
The post will form an integral part of the Directorate Management team, working closely with the Managers, Clinical Directors, Matrons and Clinical Leads for the wards and specialities, Finance team, Information team and HR.
You are also a senior manager within Trust and as such will work to meet the objectives of the care group while supporting the Trust’s overall vision, values and strategy.
