Bawburgh Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Assistant Manager to join our Norwich Family Golf Centre Team.

You'll be reporting to our Centre Manager, playing a crucial role in the day to day running of our excellent golf facility whilst ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and experience is maintained at all times. We are looking for someone with a real passion for hospitality and a natural flare to develop relationships with our customers and team. You will be assisting our Manager to look after the golf centre, driving range, sports bar and cafeteria, 9 hole course and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:

* Work alongside and support the Centre Manager overseeing daily operations of the golf centre.
* Managing day-to-day operations of the centre including the Café, Bar, Reception, 9 hole and all practice facilities.
* Supervising and managing staff, including recruitment and training.
* Liaising with the kitchen and bar staff over day-to-day running, menus and events.
* Ensuring a high standard of general presentation and cleanliness of the workplace, including regular maintenance and fire safety checks, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Coordinate with other departments and their managers.
* Maintaining a high level of customer service.
* Provide social media content and event ideas to our marketing department

Characteristics we are looking for:

* Individual who is highly proactive and engaged while having a can do attitude
* Natural flair for customer service
* Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to and overcome challenges
* Responsible to work independently but equally considered as part of the team
* A drive to make the golf centre a success and push personal development

Experience required:

* Supervisor/Managerial experience: 2+ years
* Customer service experience: 4+ years
* Competent computer admin skills, such as using Microsoft office, excel and online booking systems
* Golfing interest/knowledge
* Bar & cellar management knowledge
