School Administrator – Primary School, Leigh

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (potential for permanent placement)
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
We are working closely with a primary school in Leigh who are seeking a proactive and organised School Administrator to join their friendly office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation and maintenance of pupil records, attendance data, and reports using school systems (such as Arbor).
* Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
* Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, delivering a warm and professional service.
* Manage calls, emails, and enquiries, maintaining excellent communication across the school community.
* Coordinate staff and pupil correspondence and general communication.
* Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
* Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (can be processed through Teaching Personnel).
* Previous administrative experience (ideally within an educational setting, but not essential).
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems (experience with SIMS & Arbor is key).
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to supporting the school’s values and community.
