Start date: 5 Jan 2026 | Duration: 18 months | Positions available: 1. Work: As an apprentice, you’ll gain practical experience while learning from experienced staff. Key responsibilities: Follow EYFS and preschool policies. Create a safe, stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors. Act as a key person for a small group of children. Build strong relationships with parents and carers. Identify and report safeguarding concerns. Support and teach children through play and planned activities. Attend staff meetings and training sessions. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Write clear reports and keep accurate records. Work with external agencies when required. Requirements: Essential qualifications and experience: Level 2 Childcare Qualification or above – this apprenticeship is only open to candidates who already hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification. Level 3 Safeguarding Certificate. Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English. At least 12 months working in an early years setting.
