Transport Operational Support

Responsibilities
* Resource planning
* Provide transport support to the warehouse and to the transport schedule
* Deal with customer & driver queries
* Driver dispatch & de‑brief
* Undertake other duties within the Transport office / planning function as required
* Organising and managing specific elements of the planning function daily
* Accurate data input for use in compilation of KPI reports
* Asset tracking
* Fuel monitoring on an MPG file and/or MCS system
* Management of scheduled maintenance for fleet
* Willingness to substitute for development
* Any other duties as and when required
Shift work is a requirement with Saturday work included 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis.
Requirements
* Good geographical knowledge
* Good working knowledge of SCM (or equivalent WMS)
* Good knowledge of transport operations
* Competent in Outlook & Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of warehouse operations
