The Vacancy
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to strategise and shape our IRIS Payroll Services solutions (Domestic) to meet our ambitious vision and growth aspirations.
As an expert in domestic payroll, you will enable and support Product Managers in maturing tech-enabled payroll service solutions, translating customer and outcome-led requirements into development and service deliverables that delight our customers while ensuring compliance and meeting our core objectives.
To be successful, you must have experience working directly with IRIS Payroll Services solutions and collaborating closely with stakeholder resources during solution and delivery phases. You will ensure that technical and operational delivery aligns with business needs and communicate outcomes to internal stakeholders.
Your background should include product management within a similar Managed Services setting, with the ability to work within a wider product team to ensure payroll & HR solutions integrate into the broader domestic, North American, and Global IRIS HCM portfolio.

What will you be doing?
1. Optimise and drive growth and delivery strategies for the IRIS Payroll Services offering.
2. Lead new product initiatives and Value Creation Plans (VCPs) to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales order value (SOV) and ARR, including products like Tronc / Tipology, Employer Portal, HR Services, HR Admin, Payroll Payments, and Employee Benefits.
3. Drive adoption of the ‘Employer Portal’ among customers and colleagues, maximizing retention, NPS, and bureau efficiencies.
4. Act as an external advocate for ‘IRIS Payroll Services’ and wider ‘Payroll Solutions’ through customer interactions and marketplace presence via social media and marketing.
5. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their immediate and long-term needs, prioritizing product, service, or technology roadmaps accordingly.
6. Support management of IRIS and influence third-party technology roadmaps to enhance product stability and compliance.
7. Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for competitive advantages.
8. Manage relationships with internal teams across sales, marketing, support, legal, compliance, professional services, and engineering.
9. Assist in prioritizing escalations from operations and implementation teams to minimize customer issues through product or service enhancements and training.
10. Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects via shadowing sales conversations, user groups, and survey insights.
11. Support creation and maintenance of sales enablement collateral and participate in high-value sales presentations.
12. Ensure our digital presence effectively communicates our value proposition and features of our managed services to increase lead generation.
13. Assist in maintaining contractual descriptions and commercial details for managed services propositions and rate cards.
14. Communicate new product or service features to prospects and customers prior to release.
What we are seeking
The candidate must have product management experience within Managed Services, with the ability to work within a broader product team to ensure compliance and strategic alignment with domestic and global HCM objectives.
* Experience in product roles within domestic Payroll & HR, with knowledge of payroll & HR processes and legislation.
* Understanding of payroll & HR compliance, working conditions, and requirements.
* Experience in pricing and packaging payroll and HR solutions for global or domestic markets.
* Passion for service quality, technology, and customer satisfaction.
* Leadership skills to motivate and manage highly driven teams, with a focus on process, quality, and expectations management.
* Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliverables across various departments.
* Knowledge of market analysis and competitive landscape assessment.
* Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to innovation and customer focus.
* Proven track record of launching successful products.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
