Serco Limited – Job Title: Mobile Cleaner
Salary: £24,330 per annum
Working hours: Full-Time, Flexible, 37.5hrs p/w between 8am – 6pm

Here at Serco we have an opportunity for a Cleaning Operative to join our close-knit team working in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services based in the West Midlands. AASC offers a range of improvements, with particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system.
Responsibilities
* Provide cleaning services in the West Midlands (role may vary based on business need); a valid driver’s licence and willingness/ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK are essential.
* Clean a number of properties using a variety of cleaning materials and equipment.
* Report any cleaning appliance faults to the relevant teams.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures and regulations (COSHH) are adhered to; be competent in the use of all chemicals and cleaning materials provided.
What you need to do the job
* Be self-motivated with experience of cleaning households / large accommodation.
* Experience in managing your time effectively and a willingness to work overtime in line with business needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills due to the variety of tasks and countabilities.
* Working to tight timescales.
* Disposing of waste from properties.
* Replenishing stock.
* Assisting other geographical areas when required.
* Using the appropriate equipment to clean carpets.
* Working individually and as part of a team.
Security and Compliance
Due to the nature of the role, Security Clearance at Counter Terrorism Check level and Criminal Record Bureau checks are required. All offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.
